Appointment & Cancellation Policy
At Desert Roots Salon, we value both our clients’ time and our own. To ensure a smooth scheduling experience, we require new clients to a non-refundable 25% deposit of the services being scheduled and a valid card on file to uphold our cancellation policy.
We strive to maintain a fair and consistent policy for all clients.
Deposits & Card on File
New clients are required to submit a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking.
A valid card on file is required to uphold our cancellation and rescheduling policies.
Online Booking Policy
When scheduling an appointment online, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. Clients will also be required to place a card on file in order to comply with our cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
To reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require 72+ hours’ notice to avoid a fee.

Any appointment canceled or rescheduled 48–24 hours prior to the scheduled service will be charged 50% of the service price.
- If a 25% deposit has already been paid, only the remaining balance to equal 50% of the service price will be charged.
- Same-day rescheduling, cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service price.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the service price and will require a 50% deposit for future bookings
Appointment Reminders
Reminder texts or calls are a courtesy.
Lack of response is not considered a cancellation.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made directly by phone or email.
